Miss Asia Canada’s pageant celebrated the uniqueness and diversity of all women, especially those of Asian heritage. The pageant aims to bring together Asian delegates who otherwise would never have the opportunities to meet each other and share in their cultural experiences, their unique stories, challenges and successes. Miss Asia Canada delegates have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally as they embark on a journey to building self- confidence, public speaking skills and learn to work as a team. Delegates empowered with skills to build a successful future for themselves.
Qualified contestants range in age from 18 to 28 years, with an Asian heritage background of at least one of the 50 Nations that comprise the Asian continent. These Nations include: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Georgia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen.
