Olympic 4x100m Gold Medalists and Top Talents Headlined the Celebrity Basketball Game on September 12 at the 2nd Annual Battleground Eventheld at Regent Park Community Center.
“2nd Annual Battleground: Uniting for a Cancer-Free Tomorrow,” an exceptional charity event organized by Emmanuel Kabongo, with all proceeds benefiting Princess Margaret Hospital to support cancer research and patient care. This year’s event featured a star-studded celebrity basketball game, bringing together top talents from various fields. For the first time since winning gold at the Paris Olympics, Canadian relay champions Andre De Grasse, Jerome Blake, and Brendon Rodney will reunite in Toronto, joined by Insecure star Sarunas Jackson. Their participation underscores the importance of this cause and enriches the event by showcasing collaboration and community spirit through sports.
